BIG EXCITING UPDATE: Our May 19th DDPP session is TOTALLY FREE! We want to thank you all for your love and your grooves, and hopefully encourage some new dancers to join us for the first time, so on May 19th our dance party will be FREE! ALSO, we’ll be having a special guest in attendance! A reporter from Radio-Canada will be coming to the event to shoot a little story on us to air on TV and online in September! We’d love to have a great big crowd there to greet her, so please join us and bring your friends along!
(NOTE: If you don’t want to be on camera, that’s totally okay! We’d still love to have you come dance, and we’ll be sure to let you all know exactly when we’re filming and where in the room you can shake your groove thing if you don’t want to be on camera!)
To make this dance party extra special, we’ll be jamming to a “dance” themed playlist — all of the songs will have dance/dancing/dancer in the title! If you have any requests, leave a comment or email us at email@example.com!
Here it is, this is what we’ve been aiming for all along: FOUR DDPP DATES IN MAY!! Mark your calendars, because we’re going to get our dance on, sweat all the sweat, and invent all the moves.
Remember that you’ll no longer need to hunt for cash before a DDPP session. We got ourselves a handy little Square, so you can now pay for all your booty shaking needs with the simple swipe of a credit card!
But when are we dancing, you ask?
SATURDAY, May 2nd, 3-4 pm (lower studio)
TUESDAY, May 19th, 7-8pm (upper studio)
SATURDAY, May 23d, 3-4 pm (lower studio)
TUESDAY, May 26th, 7-8pm (upper studio)
(If you’d like to come a little early to change and stretch, you can arrive at the studio 10-15 minutes before we start.)
304 Parliament St. (west side of the street, just south of Dundas)
Because we can-can-can!
$8 per session (cash or credit card – we use Square now!)
What should I wear on my body?
At DDPP really anything goes, so wear whatever you’re comfortable in for an hour of full-blast dancing.
What should I wear on my feet?
Indoor shoes (that won’t mark the floors!), socks, or bare feet are fine!
What should I bring?
– a big bottle of water (You’re going to need it, we promise, and you can refill it there.)
– a towel if you think you might need one
– some junk in your trunk, so you can shake it
– a friend, because dancing is always better together
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions, song requests, or are interested in putting together a future playlist. It’s a total blast, you get to pick a wicked DJ name, and people tell you afterwards how great your taste in music is. PLUS the DJ always dances for free!
Pssst, check the side bar for our June dates. Full post later in May.
