FAQ just for you: a work in progress!
Post a comment below if you have a question you need answered!
Do I need to register?
Nope! Just show up ready to dance.
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable dancing in! Sneakers or socks, depending on your preference. And clothes that let you bust all possible moves. It’s a pretty good temperature in the studio and there are fans, but it still gets a bit hot by the end of the session with all that dancing. Bring water! There’s a changeroom and a bathroom at Mad for Dance if you need to change when you get there. (And if it’s a slushy awful winter day, please don’t wear your winter boots in the studio. Who wants to dance in winter boots anyway? NO ONE.)
I have secret DJ talents and/or I wanna request a song.
If you’re interested in making a playlist for an upcoming session of DDPP, drop me a note and let me know! All you need is a fun DJ name and a playlist of songs about 1 hr 15 min in length, full of party good times tunes and a cool down song at the end. If you want to request a song, drop me an email, post a comment, or FBook me!
I want to join the mailing list and/or the Facebook group!
Email me at crissycalhoun [at] gmail [dot] com to join the mailing list. The Facebook group is “Dance Dance Party Party Toronto”; searching for that should work if this link doesn’t.
How do I start up my own chapter of Dance Dance Party Party?
Yay! First you should email Glennis and Marcy of the DDPP Headquarters. Their email address is dancedancepartyparty [at] gmail [dot] com. They can explain how it works, set up a blog for you, etc. Start looking for a dance studio to hold your dance parties and start telling your gal pals!
